I don't recommend this app. A lot of bugs, bad user experience. After we spent 2 days fixing the auto translation (which was super bad), the edits weren't saved.. Very bad customer support specially Ella and Angela.

Checkout page translation does not work in free version! Just if you pay they translate your checkout area! Sounds like a joke but it is true.

This is not a seamless Shopify APP. In Shopify the setup needs to be done on your domain Server side, for each Language you wanna use you need to setup a subdomian. Sub-directory - e.g. https://....../en/ is not possible for Shopify, for what ever reason. Support answer 1) not allowed by Shopify (others offer this) 2) is our logic and not work with Shopify ( I gave up to as any further question) Seamless Installation not possible) Support was not helpful at all, only argue that is working the way it is and no support offered.

no it does only translat some words, so my webshop looks like crap and very un pro when using it, so its back and hit delete button

WARNING!!! NO EXPORT FUNCTION AVAILABLE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CONTINUE USING THIS APP! They steal your translations and keep it! Use other APPs! The answer of the APP developer (export possible) is obsolete. Support of GTranslate answered that there is NO export function. This APP is dangerous. Even support doesn't know important things. We recorded the conversation for proof. Take care! Shopify customers are tricked by the payment possibilites. You have to pay MONTHLY the higher rate even there would be a possibilty to pay YEARLY through the Shopify system. Not fair! Other Apps offer better prices with yearly payment. Customer service is not like we are used to (if the company gives wrong information on their pricing page, they have to give better price, it was their mistake!). Reply to reply of developer: Please inform Shopify customers CORRECT on your PRICING page and inside your Q&A. I stated this to you already - but you didn't care about that - so you want to mislead Shopify customers again. How awful! UPDATE: Server overload by GTranslate. Our sites were not reachable! Not very serious service. Hopefully better. Look for other Apps ... there are sure better ones.

No cambia el idioma de nada. Solo se cambia el icono del idioma. No cirve para nada. Can't change the language at all. Only is changing the flag for language change. Doesn't have any positive use.

I really have no idea how they get to 5 stars. The auto translation is convenient but then not everything can be translated. If you use other Shopify apps like a countdown timer or pop ups, they won't translate it. You can request their developer to program it for you, which is what I did. After 2,5 weeks, still not fixed. I gave up. I switched to langify which is a little more pricey but it gives me full control to do everything by myself, any single bit of the website can be translated. I cannot wait 3 weeks each time I change something on my website... Also the customer service seemed overwhelmed. I've even sent a PDF with screenshot to show what needs to be fixed and the customer service contact couldn't even tell me the status of it... she also didn't pass it over to the developer, so I was in touch with the developer and send it over again. Nobody tracked the progress on my issues but asked me to verify what was done, what wasnt and to tell them "to speed up the process". Is that customer "service" ?!

After months with this application ... my verdict is: ineffective service WITH HUGE ERRORS You can find that your website shows the word "SEXTOYS" and you don't realize it until a relative of yours tells you ... (and no, there are no sexual content products on the website) I've been with this application for a few months and now I'm definitely going to switch it as soon as I can. Firstly, they don't add "reflang" tags by default, which is very important for international SEO (and especially if your target multilingual country). SEMrush helps you detect this error ... because GTranslate already told you that it even says "no need" (that answer is unproductive) Second and WORST: I find a bad and unpleasant translation made with the word "sextoys". I contact them, and they tell me that it is because the option "centralized system" activated by default appears, and that activating it will no longer cause such rare translations (they are translations made by other people with the same Gtranslate application and that serve as a basis data for the Gtranslate application). Come on ... someone with a bad idea set about doing those kinds of translations that really are not, and thus affect the entire network of websites with GTranslate. Imagine .... because the word translated "sextoys" was ... PRODUCTS. So,... PRODUCTS = SEXTOYS

Horrible support with horrible translations for a paid app ($17.99 a month). I speak 3 languages and my wife 4, none of the languages that we finally!!! got the app to translate were even close to being acceptable. Google translate does better than this. In top of that, you have to go through a lot of work with your DNS settings on the domain side to grant access for this crappy app to work???? In this day and age where most apps are server loaded who thinks it is ok to provide this "service"? Would not recommend.

I don't recommend this app. Very very difficult to use, very expensive, don't work. A lot of bugs, bad user experience.

Needed assistance with setting up the app, customer service never got back to me, thanks for nothing i guess. Edit: Finally got hold of support, they say New York time but their customer service is based in Armenia. Staff was obnoxious, requested needless access (ie customer info) to fix then hung around on my site all day going to unrelated pages. Very odd behaviour, you can stick your free app.

I change my review to 0 stars, in one month these guys have put 2 serious bugs on my website, making it impossible to order through the french website (which is more than 40% of sales.) They are not even notifying you when there is a bug, you have to check every page of your shop every day to be sure it's working with their service. I truly not recommend this app, it's not reliable.

Don't USE THIS cause it will alter your SEO by desindexing many pages on your website. They don't tell you and your search console will show you the BIG PROBLEM OF THIS APP. THANKS FOR MAKING ME LOOSING MONEY AND TIME. Update: No it's not, i got the answer from your own team by mail so don't say false informations. Thanks

costumer service is awful, they don't even know what they're doing and they keep on telling you a bunch of lies, I have requested many times a refund and they keep prolonging the request, also this app does not support auto translate, your costumer has to enter their preferred language in their drop down menu which floats around your website like if it was 2005, it makes it look very unclean , don't recommend this app at all

if you want a robot as a costumer service well good look i have a problem with Cname and i try to contact them and always responds a robot with the same answer.

It's really lovely that it's free but it's a bit poorly made. First, the drop down design is 20 years outdated and looks bad with the theme. Second, the language menu overlaps menu text. Third, if you select a language you cannot switch back to the default language because your default language is not in the list of languages added to the menu... AND when you try to remove it some of the code still remains and translates text randomly and you have to waste time trying to manually remove the code from the theme, which just shows how poorly coded it is.

Terrible Customer service. We have over 6 globle websites, I reached out to customer support to get a better understanding off their SEO. BORYA WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS. Very degrading and when I told him how rude he was and that I will make sure I write an email to the CEO of the company, all off their apps across my sites were blocked and I was unable to install or communicate with them via chat. Terrible experience. I will never recommend this app!! terrible
