Reviews Summary
The reviews for this Shopify app, PlusSale, are quite polarized, with a mix of positive and negative feedback. On the positive side, users appreciate the AI-powered design tools that help in rebuilding storefronts quickly and efficiently. They also like the regular updates that keep their product content organized and professional. The support team, especially individuals like Balthazar, Axel, and Samy, are mentioned for their prompt and helpful assistance. However, on the negative side, some users have experienced issues such as damaging their store, clunky interface, lack of safe preview options, and ineffective SEO tools. The app seems to work better for new stores rather than established ones, and there are concerns about the risk involved in making live edits without proper safeguards.

Avoid this app!!! After I installed the app, it damaged my whole store and undo button didn't work! I had to build a new website! They ignore my request to restore my website and Shopify avoids any responsibility! The worst experience.

This app is a powerhouse: with one click, it rebuilt my storefront using AI‑powered design tools—adding beautiful sections, sliders, and even video integration that matches my creative brand vibe.

Promising Effort, But Not Yet Suitable for Professional Stores We gave this app a try for our established Shopify store, but unfortunately, it fell short in several key areas. There’s no safe way to preview changes — edits apply directly to your live site, which is risky if you already have steady traffic. There’s an undo button, but that’s not enough when you're working in a professional environment. The interface is also a bit clunky inside Shopify. Elements overlap, and parts of the screen look like they get cut off on the right-hand side. There’s no option to apply changes to a duplicate theme which feels risky. After raising our concerns, the support team explained that the app is better suited to new stores and offered us access to their beta A/B testing tool along with a partial refund (£3.99 out of £5.99). While not ideal, we appreciated the gesture and their willingness to engage. They also offered us three months of their a/b testing while it is in beta which was appreciated. Unfortunately you can only modify a small amount of text — there’s no visual editor or ability to work directly with your own product or landing pages. The experience is confusing. We’re happy for someone to walk us through it, but doesn't seem like the a/b test which allows you to test all aspects of your landing page that they described even if it's only in the beta stage. The SEO tools also didn’t deliver. Rather than applying keywords intelligently, it just bulk-inserted them across all product pages. It shows your site speed, but offers no advice on how to improve it. It’s clear the team is working to improve things, and we do appreciate the support we received. But right now, the app still needs quite a bit of development to be viable for established stores looking for reliable tools and performance.
Hello, Thanks for your honest and detailed feedback. We are really sorry to hear that the experience didn’t live up to your expectations. You’ve raised some important points especially around the lack of a safe preview mode. That’s something we take seriously, and we’re already working on adding the ability to test changes in a duplicate theme before going live. It’s clear that for stores with real traffic, this kind of control is essential. We also want to apologize if our response about your site came off the wrong way. We meant to highlight that your store already follows many good practices, but we understand how that could sound dismissive. That wasn’t our intention, and we’ll take this as a reminder to communicate more thoughtfully. As for the UI issues and SEO concerns , we hear you. The interface is being refined, and we're improving how keyword suggestions are handled to make them more relevant and selective. We’re grateful you took the time to share this, even though the experience wasn’t what you hoped.
