AccessifyAI: WCAG ADA EAA Scan
AccessifyAI is a Shopify App that offers accessibility scans for WCAG 2.2 AA, EAA, BFSG, ADA, and AODA. It provides AI-generated alt text for products and guides users on fixing accessibility issues on their website. The app scans every page against WCAG 2.2 AA, explains findings in plain language, and offers guidance on theme issues by identifying the Liquid file and providing search strings. Additionally, it includes an overlay toolbar for shoppers.

Das BFSG stand vor der Tür und wir wussten nicht, wo wir anfangen sollen. Der erste Scan hat 412 Produktbilder ohne Alt-Text gefunden, dazu einen Checkout-Button, dessen Kontrast an unserer eigenen Markenfarbe scheitert. Die Liste abzuarbeiten hat zwei Wochen gedauert. Hätte ich das mal ein Jahr früher gemacht.
