The post iOS14 world has been a nightmare. Our MER was all over the place. My accountant gave me nervous calls saying we did not have the cash to cover our ad expenses. FB ads manager data led me to believe it was right to scale to $14k/day in spend. But actual sales in our Shopify store said otherwise. It took awhile for me to realize this, but FB "modeled" conversion data was just basically blind guessing. Scaling with FB ads manager data alone was like playing Russian roulette. But fortunately, with Adaya we are able to see more clearly our fb ads performance. Adaya with our first party data, tracked conversions accurately, thus allowing me to make informed decisions on which campaigns to scale and which to kill. Now when I increase spend, there is a corresponding lift instead of just burning money (since I killed all the loser ads). Our MER is at Black Friday numbers now. Now I feel confident in scaling and giving less heart attacks to my accountant. With rising production costs, rising inflation, decreasing margins, there is no room today for unprofitable spend in this post iOS14 world. And for any company to grow, you need to find new customers at scale. Adaya is a key component to succeed in this new era of paid marketing.
