Advanced Automatic Discounts has been a great app for us. It extends Shopify’s native discount functionality in a really smart, lightweight way without being bloated or overengineered. Their support is great. They’re responsive, helpful, and clearly listen to feedback. You can tell the app is actively being improved by people who actually care about making it better. It solves real problems, works the way you want it to, and builds on Shopify in a way that feels natural. Hard to ask for much more. 10/10 — no notes.

Bruce was extremely responsive and supportive, helping troubleshoot issues and suggest refinements to meet our needs. We can now offer unique‑user discounts and target specific collections with custom promotions. Highly recommend, thanks again, Bruce!

Our experience with the Advanced Automatic Discounts app has been very positive. We used the app to set up a multi-tier order discount with several customizations, all of which worked exactly as intended. We were particularly impressed with the support from Bruce, who assisted us quickly with a custom discount setup and implemented every request we had. The solution works perfectly with and was easy to use.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but the experience with Bruce and the Advanced Automatic Discount team was genuinely impressive. Our discount logic was anything but standard—we needed unique pricing rules where each item in a sequence (2nd, 3rd, 4th, and beyond) received a different discount, and the same logic had to repeat smoothly for larger cart sizes. We couldn’t find a single app that could support this properly until we worked with them. The solution works exactly as intended, and the support throughout the process was knowledgeable, patient, and proactive. Highly recommended for anyone needing advanced, non-traditional discount setups.

I rarely leave reviews, but Bruce and the Advanced Automatic Discount team absolutely deserve this one. We needed a very specific, out-of-the-box tiered discount setup that no other app could handle: different discounts on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th products, then repeating that pattern again on larger carts (with some products getting no discount in between). It was a pretty complex logic, and I honestly expected to be told “this isn’t possible.” The responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to build a truly custom solution for our store were on another level. If you’re looking for a powerful automatic discount app and top-tier support that actually cares about your use case, this is the app. 100% a 5-star experience. Highly recommended.

The developer was very helpful and responsive. He built the exact feature I requested for my store and kept regular communication through email during the process. Wow! This app saved me soooo much time. Perfect for quantity discounts and tiered pricing. Especially for wholesale B2B businesses. I just wish i found it sooner.

Our company wanted to implement tiered pricing for retail (non-B2B) customers, but our situation is unique, not "out of the box", and yet Bruce and this app solved the problem. Our pricing tiers come from our ERP and get passed into Shopify as a single, custom product metafield. While the app, as a standard install, does not have capability to handle this exact scenario, once Bruce understood our specific needs, he custom coded a solution for us right away and it works perfectly. Bravo to Bruce and Advanced Automatic Discounts!

Bruce offers amazing customer service! Our business has many facets and that makes our backend Shopify website more complex than most - specifically with wholesale and retail sides to our e-commerce business. We want to be able to run discounts for all customers (logged in and not logged in) but exclude all B2B customers and we could not find ANY solution until we found this app and Bruce. He customized our app functionality to work the way we need it to work and it has saved our company (and our wholesale customers) a lot of headaches. Highly recommend!

The plug-in is very easy to use and the service is very good. If you don't understand something, they will guide you on how to use it. The service is very good and any problems will be corrected in time.

simple to set up. Mimics the Shopify Discount setup with the added bonus of using customer tags in Segmented lists to target our Legacy Customers. Bruce Chen was also very helpful.

What can I say, this app works smooooothly, evrything run as expected and Bruce offers a customer assistance that probably you couldn't find somewhere else. I personally have requested some custom features, very tricky and difficult to be honest, working with tier amount filters, customer tag filters and specific collections and interaction with other specific discounts, and Bruce solve it. Such a professional guy and a professional app. :)
