Update: We are using this app since 2022, but reinstalled it (thats why it may show here fewer days in use. We switched now to the Pro Version, which offers Checkout Checkbox for Verification, and this one will also be written as a proof into the order details, which is even more helpful. Review Text from 2022: The app does well in our shop. You can also use it with language versions in "Langify" if you set global custom translations in langify. We also had a conflict with our "GDPR Cookie Banner" app. The solution was to add the "__age_checker-history" cookie as essential in the Cookie app. (some users would have to delete their browser cache to make it work asap) Both times Chris as developer of this app was very helpful and answered quickly.

This app does exactly what is says and works exactly as it should. It's very easy to customise it to suit the look of your website. Furthermore, the support for this app is fantastic. Overall the app is great. It offers far more in its free plan than others. A couple complaints: There is no way to change the size of buttons. They appear to be to compact to text. There is a "Boarder Width" option but it appears to do nothing. There is also no way to change the warning text from dark red. So if you changed the background image it had better work with that text. Overall it is great but it would be nice to have a little customization beyond what it is doing now. All of that being said, still the best age checker I've found so far.

Selling beers and alcoholic beverages means legal age restrictions. We needed this kind of age checker to ensure visitors are allowed to buy our products. First we had the pop up. Later Chris introduced the Checkout Rules in the cart. This is an extra chance to check the customers age once again before buying. The design is great, functionality and user experience is great. Chris was extremely helpfull, and extremely quick, when I asked for help with a minor adjustment.
