K AI Search Agentic Storefront

A short message to my fellow Shopify store owners: We are at the end of 2026. We are living in the middle of the AI era. Explore the possibilities — and start using them. We have a fairly complex product range, where small technical details can determine which product is right for a particular customer. Interestingly, we first discovered Kimonix Agentic AI Search through an AI recommendation. We were initially skeptical about whether an AI shopping assistant could really understand our products well enough to provide useful guidance to customers. After running it live in our store for about a month, we have been proven wrong. With the right setup and guidance, we have been able to turn the AI agent into a genuinely useful sales assistant. It can understand customer questions, identify their needs, and guide them toward the right products — entirely without human assistance. For our customers, the AI search has become a significant improvement to the shopping experience. For us, it also saves considerable time on repetitive product and compatibility questions, even though we genuinely enjoy hearing from our customers. For stores with a reasonably large or technically complex product range, where customers often need help finding the right product, I believe agentic AI search is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. Going into the end of 2026, I would strongly recommend that Shopify merchants with this type of product catalogue at least evaluate what an AI shopping assistant such as Kimonix can do for their store. Finally, the support from Kimonix has been first-class, and the cost of the app has been paid for many times over through the staff time saved and the additional sales it has generated.

We have been using the Kimonix AI Search Claude Agent for a few weeks now, and the first results are very promising. It is very easy to install in different places across the website and can be adapted well to match the look and feel of our brand. In addition to AI Search, we also use the Kimonix Merchandising tool, which integrates seamlessly with the search results. Overall, a very flexible and promising solution.

Kimonix's Agentic Search app has genuinely changed how our Shopify store handles site search, and we couldn't be happier with it. Getting up and running was refreshingly painless too. No code, no long onboarding, and the Kimonix team stayed close the whole time to make sure everything was dialed in for our store. Every question we had got answered fast, and it always felt like they actually wanted us to succeed with it. We're also longtime users of Kimonix's Collection Sort app, and running the two side by side has been a real bonus. Merchandising and AI-powered search working from the same playbook makes the entire discovery journey feel smooth and intentional from the first search to the final add-to-cart. If you want an AI search solution that helps customers find products faster and makes shopping genuinely more enjoyable, Kimonix AI Search is well worth it. It's been one of the smartest upgrades we've made to our store, and we're only getting started.
