Super easy to add manual recommendations. Just wish I could add those recommendations in bulk when making them for the same product but in a different print.

Automatic recommendations do not work really well. We have products which are gifts ($0 value) not listed and should be added to the cart only under certain conditions, and the app recommends/lists those products on regular basis. There is no simple automatic way to exclude those products from recommendations ... there are a few manual ways, like tagging or manually adding them one by one etc. There should be a simple way to not recommend products $0 value

While Also Bought uses automated logic to suggest products based on real customer behavior, we understand that certain items, like $0 gift products, shouldn’t appear in recommendations. Yes, these products can be excluded by tagging them (e.g. “hidden recommendations” or “recommendations disabled”) or excluding them either directly through the app or in your Shopify admin. We're more than happy to help set this up if you need any assistance. However, you can also automate the process using Shopify Flow to tag $0 products as soon as they’re created. UPDATE: After reading my review the development team went to work in a few days and fixed a major issue we were having with Pre-order products being recommended. They have fixed the issue and it is functioning properly now. The proper labels are being displayed to customers now so there is no way of them missing that the product is a pre-order. Thanks for fixing this.

What is good: - The Also Bought block looks nice in our store (both in web and mobile version). - Relatively easy to install and configure. - Support team is there to respond. What is not so good: - You can configure recommended products manually, but for 1 product at a time. There is no option to do that for a collection. And also you can't duplicate already created manual recommendation and assign it to another product, which would make the process faster. You can either do it for the whole list of your products (including cart) via global recommendations. Or for each product 1 by 1. If you a have lot of SKU in your store, then it's quite a lot of work. - Another thing is that we wanted to configure certain recommendations for the cart page. But it's not possible yet. - As mentioned by others, statistics shows the number of products sold via the app, but doesn't specify which ones. So it's kind of useless to be fare. You can enable tracking, but you will have a note in a packing slip which says "also bought clicked" and you will have to remove that note manually from each order. That's not an option for us. Overall, I would say it depends on your goal: if you fine with relying on automatic recommendations than you can try it. If you wanted more flexibility, I'm afraid it's not going to be very easy.

Regarding product recommendations, our system currently operates at the product level, meaning that creating manual bundles needs to be done individually for each product. However, if you’re seeking a more automated approach, our app provides filtering options that can recommend products based on same collection, product type, vendor, or tags that might better suit your needs. As for the app stats, our team has already reached out to explain why the actual products aren’t reflected in the built-in stats. This isn’t due to us withholding the data, but rather due to limitations with Shopify. The data we receive is anonymized, and we gather stats via JavaScript calls to our servers. This is the reason why our stats feature serves as a small component within the app, designed mainly to help monitor trends and track overall performance. We also understand your concern about tracking attributes. Unfortunately, this is Shopify-imposed information, and we have limited control over it. These details are never visible to customers, as they are private and intended solely for merchants. If they’re showing up on your packing slips, we suggest contacting your packing slip software provider to exclude this information from the "additional details" section. The app is brilliant and the customer service is probably the best I have seen! We've been using this for a few years now. In our most recent request, Luisa was extremely helpful in resolving the issue very quickly. The entire team is always quick to respond and resolve any problems. 5 stars without a doubt!
