It mostly works, but doesn't send the "out for delivery" email or the "delivered" email that it should. Also it doesn't flag the Shopify orders with the Amazon order ID, so if you're looking at the Shopify order, there's no way to just click over and see the Amazon order.
Hi TruePrimal, thank you for your review. We want to inform you that Shopify orders can be easily located in SellerCentral using the search bar by entering "Shopify #[Order Number]". We heard your feedback and are working to implement your proposed solution as well. For delivery notifications, Shopify is able to send order shipped notifications for all MCF orders. For orders we ship using USPS and UPS, Shopify can also send the shipment update emails, and we are working with Shopify to extend this to orders shipped via Amazon Logistics as well.
