I was looking for something to verify our customer age. I checked with Shopify and found that this feature is not available in the theme so i found this app. I tried it is good.

AVP has been a great choice. The support team went above and beyond by creating a custom code solution for me, and the app itself is powerful, easy to use, and simple to style. Definitely worth 5 stars.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Age Verification AVP on Shopify was genuinely disappointing. After being a loyal customer for nearly a year, my account was abruptly deactivated when my store ran into issues—without any warning that my age verification functionality had been taken down. Instead of helping me get back up and running, the team told me I'd have to pay more and join a new plan. I've used plenty of Shopify apps, and I've never had another provider treat me like this. The customer service was especially frustrating: Sophie was rude, unhelpful, and kept repeating that she was just following policy. If that policy is to treat long-time customers like garbage, then mission accomplished. There are better options out there for age verification—ones that actually value their customers and offer real support. I won't be coming back.
