The Better Blog Comments Shopify App has received mostly positive reviews from users. Trying to reach the support team, but there's no way of contacting them. All of the "contact us" button don't work. The app is great, but there is some things that I need help with.
The best comment app for Shopify overall as of early 2026, because: -Clean and low-friction UX for commenters. Visitors can simply input their email address when commenting; no need to login/register. -Can auto-send reply alert email to commenters if they checked "notify me". --Caveat: the sender for reply alerts shows as your store name but address [email protected]. -Can import comments from CSV file. Can be improved: -No export option. Once you start using this app, there's no easy way to transfer your comments out! -Can't upload images in comments. -No upvote/downvote. -No GUI for formatting text (bold, italic, hyperlink, etc). This already exists on the backend dashboard, but needs to be added to the frontend widget. Happy to update my review as features improve.
I was searching through the various apps that could help with comments for the very basic Shopify Blog page. This is exactly what I was looking for . It gives me and my customers an easy way to respond and for all to engage together. The customer service is excellent. Set up in minutes with their assistance.
The app is great overall but when I reply to comments via email instead of logging into Shopify, they do not get approved and my comment reply is blank. I had to go in and approve/respond to them all again in the app.
