No matter what we try, we can't get this to work. It does not recognize the URL of our WordPress blog whether we use the main blog listing page, a category page or an actual post. I have submitted two support requests to the provider and have received no response.

This app was really buggy for me and didn't work on Safari. At first it only imported 10 articles, but after contacting support they told me to change some default settings in Wordpress and it was able to import all my articles. It's too bad those setting changes weren't in the instructions. It was a nailbiter, because I only had 72 hour window that I had to pay up-front with the app and the support case took a day or two, although support was pleasant to work with. None of the imported articles have any pictures even though Wordpress hosts them all, so I don't fully get why I would want this app at all.
Hi, I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. From your description it looks like you missed setting things up correctly. When you have a moment can you confirm one setting in your WordPress admin for me? WordPress sites set their RSS feed syndication settings to only send 10 posts by default. To update your RSS settings, go to Settings > Reading and change 'Syndication feeds show the most recent' to allow all of your posts in your feed (BlogFeeder needs access to all posts to import them). At the same time, you may want to ensure that you allow the full text in your RSS feed. Update: On checking our logs I can see you have 300 posts already imported. Would you mind letting us know if you require further assistance?

I've been using this app for years now and it works brilliantly. On top of that the Customer Service and Technical team are amazing. They answer queries and rectify glitches very quickly. I stopped blogging for a while. But as soon as I restarted I made sure I re-installed this app first. Brilliant app and team!!!

At first, it worked. But then doing a redirect on my RSS feed towards the new Atom feed of my store itself, it entered an infinite loop and recreated the articles hundreds of times and it crashed my store. Not recommended.
Hi, I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. Would you be open to open a ticket with us we take a look at your setup? Looking forward to hearing from you.

I was just started to manually import every blog post from my WP blog to Shopify when I decided decided to look for a tool to help. 10 minutes later and my entire blog is in! That was amazing, thanks

Needed an app to transfer my Wordpress blog over to Shopify and they have a great one-time option just for transferring. Exactly what I needed. Had trouble when I could only import 10 posts so I thought it was limited in the app. They followed up with me completely unprompted and helped me solve the issue (which ended up being my RSS settings on Wordpress) Great app and great customer service. If you're looking for a way to transfer a blog over to Shopify, this is the one.

Do not install this app, seems to be more bug that software. Completely unusable. Zero stars. Only cost me $15 to discover this but hopefully i'll save a few people from the same fate.

Featured image not import from blog site, Hope import the "Featured image" sync!!!!!!!!! If can import Featured image, it will be Perfect!!!!
Hi Razful, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, due to a technical limitation in the Shopify API, we are unable to import the blog images into your Shopify account. This means that even though they display on your Shopify blog, they are being served from your external blog. Due to this limitation, we also aren't able to populate the "featured image" field. I'm sorry I don't have better news in this regard. If Shopify opens up the API to allow image imports, we will certainly investigate making this available. Thank you for understanding.

App doesn't work. Paid $14.99 for 72-hour access to the app. Well, it looks like I just got ripped off $15 - since the app won't identify our blog. I've tried repeatedly - entering the CORRECT URL for the blog that I needed to import. All I get is this error message... "Uh Oh! Feed is invalid" -- but that is simply not true.
Hi, I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. I can see you did get a moment to respond to our follow up message in your support request. Would you be open to reply to it we iron out the issue for you?

App did not work. Connected to wordpress blog with 1k+ post but BlogFeeder only imported 1 post. Tried deleting and redoing the import several times. End up giving up after paying $15

EXCELLENT! Simple straight forward. Install and add url's of blogs you want to import to your blog! PERFECT! I did not get into the details, image functions. I wanted to pull related blogs to my blog to feed search engines my blog content. This app is perfect for this.

Thank you! Smooth and easy to bring my blog over from WP. As long as the WP blog isn't deleted, the images seem to be fine on the Shopify Blog.

I used this app to help me improve SEO by republishing our wordpress blog to our shopify store. The app does a great job. A little issue with syncing photos and videos.

Imported the blog posts easily enough, but doesn't provide any facility to import images from them. As a result, if you're migrating from the old blog you need to manually go through each post and manually upload each image to Shopify - which sort of defeats the purpose.
Hi, Thanks for your feedback. The one thing to keep in mind is that due to a technical limitation in the Shopify API, we are unable to fully import the blog images into your Shopify account. This means that even though they display on your Shopify blog, they are being served from your external blog.
