The cohort analysis feature is especially helpful, allowing us to target specific customer cohorts on Klaviyo, Meta, and Google Ads. Superb app. Very useful in knowing who my customers are, and where they are in the buying cycle. The out-of-the-box customer segmentation is crazy (in a good way) and gives me the ability to sync these as custom audiences into Google Ads (huge). The Products Sold report is useful in showing what products are sold, and matches these to customer segments as well to help in developing product promotion strategy. Great app overall on providing real business intelligence. Also, the support from the team when I had a question is excellent.

By The Numbers is the single most valuable app you can add to your store. Over the last 6 months I have used it to gain an understanding of my customer journey and business operations that I never could have dreamed of before. I've used the data from BTN to adjust marketing messaging timing, adjust advertising spend to the most efficient campaigns, understand customer purchasing tendencies (bundling, etc), and even as a prompt to change the formulation on one of my products. (Purchase latency and repurchase rates). Put simply, BTN will allow you to make better, information-based decisions that will help you run a more profitable business. I would be blind without it.

Being able to filter through years of sales and customer data is helping me to make better decisions about marketing and to be more efficient with my time and advertising budget. Working with the team one-on-one, we have been able to identify key metrics that have helped us make strategic decisions with our new product line launch. This has saved us several hours of research in regard to market demographics and customer behavior. We would recommend that for a business just starting out, or even at an enterprise level for product launches.

Highly recommended. The Loyalty, Segment and Cohort analysis sections are very comprehensive and the reports section has a lot of insights. The team made the enhancements we needed in an incredibly short time and went live. Great customer service.

Understanding and increasing LTV is a very underrated part of building a successful Shopify store. Normally, you would need to generate, download and analyze several reports and go through a lot of data to get the insights necessary to take effective action. By the Numbers does all this for you. They organize your data into charts and lists that are specifically designed to help grow your LTV and retention. They also integrate into other tools so you can quickly take action and use they insights to grow your business. Highly Recommend!

As a company from 1854, We have a large data base of customers spanning back until when emails were invented. Our oldest customers have been around longer than the living members of staff have. This app has been the perfect, easy to use out of the box data app to help us know. A) Who is worth the most, B) Who is starting to slip C) How often they come back and when we should chase up... among a lot of other factors. The true ROI of AdWords being just another factor this app provides us for a fraction of the price of the other one we used before. Highly recommended and also recommend reaching out to the team who are very helpful. Thanks guys.
