CartBot: Gift with purchase

increible app, me encanta!!!!!

I’ve spent hours trying to get this app to do something extremely basic: auto‑add a free gift when a customer adds a product. It should be simple, but CartBot turns it into a never‑ending loop of errors, restrictions, and dead ends. Every attempt to create a bot ends with the same “buyer consent required” error, even when using Bundler exactly the way the app claims to support. The app refuses to save bots, refuses to recognize discounts until after the fact, and forces popups for setups that should be frictionless. I’ve gone through every setting, every integration, every workaround — nothing works the way it’s advertised. I’ve opened this app more times than I can count, rebuilt bots from scratch, toggled every setting, and followed every instruction. After all that time, CartBot still can’t perform the one job it’s supposed to do. If you value your time, avoid this app. It creates more problems than it solves.

For a Free App what else could you ask for? Prompts the customers for the item and even allows them to reject it which happens from time to time. Able to customize a little bit on the free version but the only caveat is you are going to need a checkout validator to make sure customers do not brute force gifts. The app does a fantastic job of trying to keep them down to the selection you allow but people are always going to try and game the system somehow. We have it working great and with a validator it keeps those pesky cheaters out as well.
