Catalog Guard is a Shopify App developed by Vigil Labs that helps ecommerce merchants catch product data errors before they impact sales. The app checks products against 14 rules to identify issues such as missing weights, zero prices, out-of-stock listings, duplicate SKUs, and more. It provides a dashboard that ranks issues by impact, suggests next actions, and guides users on how to fix the errors within Shopify. Users can track their health score and scan history in English or French. It ensures data integrity by being read-only, meaning products are never altered.
