HOUSE OF EVEN review for Charm Bar

I really wanted this app to work for my business because the concept is excellent. Unfortunately, I decided to cancel my subscription due to the onboarding experience and limited customisation options. The biggest challenge is the lack of comprehensive documentation. There is no clear, step-by-step setup guide explaining the complete workflow from creating a builder through to testing and publishing it. Instead, I found myself relying on trial and error to discover where settings were located and how the app was intended to be configured. The available YouTube videos are more product demonstrations than installation tutorials. As a new user, I expected documentation that explained the standard setup process, including builder creation, theme installation, testing, publishing, and configuration of the various settings. I reached out to support with what I considered to be basic product questions, but was directed towards a paid consulting service. I fully understand charging for custom development or bespoke implementations, but I don't believe merchants should have to pay extra simply to learn how to use the app's standard functionality when there is no comprehensive user manual. From a design perspective, I also found the customisation options limited. For example, I couldn't find straightforward ways to customise typography or achieve the level of branding consistency I was looking for. The app has potential and the support team was polite and responsive. However, until there is more complete documentation, clearer onboarding, and greater flexibility in the interface customisation, I don't feel it's the right fit for my store.
