Checkout Bear
The reviews for the Checkout Bear Shopify App are mixed, with both positive and negative feedback. On the positive side, users appreciate the fantastic customer service provided by the team, quick responses to queries, and helpful resolutions of issues. The app is considered reasonable in terms of pricing compared to other similar apps and offers a wide range of options to enhance the checkout process. Users also praise the app for its ease of use and implementation, especially with the recent customizations allowed by Shopify. However, on the negative side, some users express frustration that most functions only work for Shopify Plus, limiting the app's usability for non-Plus users.

Absolute rubbish! Most functions only work for Shopify Plus, and those that are available do not work!
Hi XBody team, I'm Aaron from the Checkout Bear team. Checkout Bear is an app built off the Shopify Checkout Extensibility capabilities that were only allowed for Plus users until recently. Shopify released a very limited capability set to Non-Plus plans, and in the near future will open all these features to everyone. We decided to open the capabilities that Shopify allowed us to to all users so they can benefit from the functionalities on the Order and Thank You Page. Once Shopify opens all functionalities you will benefit from what Plus stores can use today. This app is completely free for all non Plus users and can only help serve your Checkout experience to be more interactive. Please reach out to me at [email protected], I will be happy to help you with the Checkout Bear set up on the relevant pages.
We have been using Checkout Bear for a while now and the customer service has always been very quick and helpful and resolved our issues. The app is reasonable compared to other apps that charge a ton, and it gives us a lot of great options to extend our checkout!
Thank you for your kind review! Our team is on standby for anything you need :) Happy selling and here is to many more Checkouts!
Fantastic support from the team and new developments

This is a great app so far now that Shopify allows for more customizations on the checkout page. The interface is easy to use and implement. I even emailed their dev team about a suggestion that I had and he not only replied quickly but genuinely seemed interested in my ideas and is planning on implementing.
Thank you so much for your 5 star review! We are so pleased to hear that you find the app to be great, with the customization options in the checkout page and the user-friendly interface. It's great to know that our development team also took your suggestions into consideration and even seemed interested in them! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. If there's anything else we can help with, please let us know.
