OT | Collection Sort & Manage

This app does a great job automatically pushing out of stock items to the bottom of a collection, and in-stock items to the top of it. The app also allows you to sort and organize the items in a collection by several other useful criteria. Customer service is very helpful and fast.

We have been using collection sort for 9+ months, and it has solved our problem where we wanted to customize the sort order of our collections based on tags. We use another system to manage our products, and the product sync to Shopify with tags allows us to create and manage our collections dynamically. We struggled to sort our collections based on our custom criteria until we found the Collection Sort app. With Collection Sort, collections can be sorted A-Z or Z-A by tag, which solved all of our problems. We had one technical issue, and they were swift to address the issue. We give them 5 stars on the product meeting our needs and 5 stars for their customer service.

UPDATE 2026: they give refunds... very good. But they cannot run this app properly. Extremely disruptive. People should test it daily since the devs don't do it! One time out of 2 I open the app, I discover some issues. This is a joke! Potentially is a good app but they add useless functions, and they don't take care of the main one: COLLECTION ORDER. Such a pitty! I have to look for a new app and waste tons of time since the setup was extremely time-consuming. Guys, if you cannot do it properly, just leave it!! UPDATE: I am on the most expensive plan and I am using this app for years. THe potential is great but they don't take enough care of it. Sometime you'll just discover that all the hours invested into creating nice settings are wasted since they change something or update the app. Nobody inform you so you'll just have a wrong product order. Such a pity... The app is improving every day. Also, there were many issues at the beginning and the devs gave me a long free trial period to excuse the issues and repay my wasted time. Now the app is defenetly better and such a great idea to achive the purpose of a algo ordered collection without make collection pages heavier and slower like any other apps do. Thank you! This app is pure treasure! Totally essential for anyone who elevates the business into certain level and is working on CRO / utilization of collections. The app allows to sort collections based on a lot of criteria really easily which can be combined with manual lock of selected products (e.g. the first 4 products in the category).

We had been using the "Collection Manager" app. But that app is kind of limiting. Went on the hunt for something better. I'm happy to say "Collection Sort" is the alternative. It's the best collection organizer in the app store as far as I can tell. It is easy to work with and very powerful. An excellent tool for Shopify stores that have lots of products!

Took me awhile to get a hang of it, but now that it is already all ready - I love it! It helps manage the products in our store and give old products or slow-movers an opportunity to sell as well. More often than not, they get hidden at the last few pages. Customer support is great as well - always so quick to respond and helping me out with my queries during the installation and setup phase!

Great app. Allows me to automate arranging products on my website. I am able to have "restocked" products pushed up. The support team is very active in responding to any issues or updates that are needed. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for help in sorting/arranging products and collections on their website.

Really great app, easy to set up. We have a lot of seasonal products and it takes the guess work out of knowing what products our customer are checking out throughout the year.
