We use this app on our website. It makes it easy to create subcategories. The rules to have products automatically added to subcategories are straightforward.

This is just what you need to create sub collections. Very good support. I asked for a change and got it within 1 hour. We use it here for an example: https://radne.com/collections/karting-motordelar-kringutrustning-rotax-max-125-dd2

App is does exactly what it says. A much easier way to create a hierarchy of collections to make navigation for customers much easier. I had some issues on installation and support was fantastic. Highly recommend this app and developer.
