I was really hoping for this dramatically announced feature to subtitute our swatches app but the functions are so basic and really not revolutionary at all. Custom color names (Dark Green instead of just Green) plus according swatches are not possible. Also variants don't show up as individual products on the store front, which is unpractical for the customer, as they only see individual colors when clicking the product that just has one thumbnail aka one color. All in all the feature would be so cool and helpful if it actually had more depth and function to it.
