Commentify Blog Comment Reply
The reviews for the Shopify App highlight positive aspects such as quick and seamless migration of existing comments, excellent support with customization, and friendly and fast responses from the support team. Users appreciate features like email alerts for comment replies and the ability to comment with just an email. However, there are concerns about the sender's name in reply alert emails and missing features like import/export comments, inserting hyperlinks and images, editing comments, and upvoting/downvoting comments.
I’m incredibly pleased with both the product and the support. Migrating my existing comments was quick and seamless, and the support team helped me customize the comment section to fit my site perfectly. They were always friendly, fast to respond, and genuinely helpful.
What I like: -Email alert to commenter when someone replies. -Users can comment with just email, without signing in to anything. What I don't like: -Reply alert emails' sender is name=[store name], address="[email protected]", instead of store email address. Missing features: -Import & export comments. -Insert hyperlinks and images in comments. Would be nice to have a markdown/rich text editor with at least bolding, italics, links and image insertion. -Edit comments. -Upvote/downvote comments.
