Consently is a Shopify App designed to help ecommerce merchants comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws by providing a customizable cookie consent banner for their storefront. The app allows users to set up and customize the banner within their store admin, translate it, scan cookies, and review consent logs. It seamlessly integrates as a theme app embed, ensuring continuous functionality even when themes are updated or switched. Additionally, non-essential cookies and scripts are blocked until shoppers give consent, and Google Consent Mode v2 facilitates passing choices to Google tags.
