This app would be much more helpful if: Bundles were integrated into the program, allowing users to offer pre-sale packages similar to Kickstarter. Currently, if you use Downpay (the suggested payment app for smaller pre-sale down payments), you can't use a bundle app—which is necessary because Crowdfunder doesn’t support bundling natively. There were better visual representations of campaign progress. The app currently shows a due date and basic text indicating how far along you are toward your goal, but it could be much better. Aesthetically pleasing progress bars or visual indicators would greatly improve the experience. We ultimately had to delete the app and build this functionality ourselves.

You’re absolutely right, the current widget is functional but not inspiring, so we’re rolling out a fresh design with multiple style presets (dark mode, retro, party mode, and more) to better fit your brand vibe and make campaign progress feel more tangible. Used to use it all the time, used to be an amazing app. Now it doesn't work at all, can't even get it to load let alone function. Really disappointed.

This worked perfectly and allowed me to run a crowdfunding campaign on my website without using a third party service like Kickstarter. I saved a lot of money by paying the monthly Crowdfundr fee rather than paying a % of Kickstarter fees.

I used this to bring back a product we had not sold for a few years. It was easy to setup and worked well. The only thing I thought was strange was the way it displayed the number (the used of the . and , was confusing for some people) It may work in some European countries but not ours. Apart from that it was flawless and will more than likely use in the future again.

This app automatically hid the add to cart button when my campaign met its goal, even though I never turned on that option on my campaign. This should never be an automatic setting as this potentially costed me sales in the period of time where the add to cart button was down.
Based on your feedback, we’ve updated the app’s main Settings form to improve control over the “Hide ATC button” options. Now, there are no default values for those fields, and they’re required. This ensures they’re only applied when you specifically choose them. For each campaign, these fields remain optional, so you won’t have to set them every time; the settings will just fall back to whatever you set globally. Thank you for helping us make Crowdfunder better! Your input directly shaped this update, and we hope it creates a more seamless experience for you and all our users.

Our courier service lost thousands of dollars worth of inventory for a product launch and we were able to recover in part because of this app! Made it super easy for us to crowd fund / pre-sell to produce a new batch of inventory with the support of our customers and to turn a tough situation around. It's easy to use and install. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking to launch a crowd-fund campaign!

Every time I click Published theme, it always prompts We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information. I'm fucking pissed off, shit.

To provide a clear timeline, you installed the app at 3:15 am our local time, gave a 1-star review half an hour later, and raised a support ticket at 3:54 am. This is a great app that is simple to set up and get running quickly. I was a bit nervous about starting a crowdfunding campaign on my Shopify site but we got funded within two weeks! Customer service was really fast and helpful when we had questions too. I'd highly recommend this app.

It's a pretty simple and effective widget that appears on your product page and doesn't interfere with your orders or logistics at all. It doesn't have a lot of the extra features some other pre-order apps have like delayed/partial payments, etc., but it's not meant to be that. I can handle those details in my admin and with my 3PL, and this just does a great job of showing the goal and creating urgency. My only feature request is to be able to embed the block on other pages in my store via the Theme Editor. Currently, every campaign is tied to a specific product and product page. Customer service was also very helpful in helping me customize the look and functionality right away!

This transforms shopify into a crowdfunding platform for our non-profit. We process all of our donations in shopify thanks to Ethercycle. Also, they are very responsive and helped tweak some code when we needed it. THANKS!

自サイト内で予約商品の先着販売をするために利用しました。英語の管理画面ですが、機能も管理画面もシンプルなのでそこまで難しくありません。 （なぜかアプリ内の下層ページから別の下層ページへ遷移しようとすると、ずーっとローディング状態になり、一旦アプリのロゴをクリックしてトップに戻る必要があります。その分、星を１個減らしました。） また、当アプリ単体では、予約販売商品と発売済み商品を一緒にカートに入れた時の制御ができません。 総評すると、資金を集めるクラウドファンディング目的での利用ではないのですが、購入数が増えるたびに達成率が伸びるのでエンタメ性もあり、会員向けやコアユーザー向けの先着販売といった販促には大変有用でした。

Pretty straightforward to use, without all the hoops I would have had to jump through to set up on a lot of the better-known crowdfunding platforms. A great boon to be able to host a crowdfunder directly on my shop without having to redirect customers to a completely different website.
