The app handles custom order statuses perfectly using Shopify tags without affecting order details. Setup was easy and it works exactly as expected.Try App support as well, they were responsive and do a small addon for free and rapidly. A must-have for stores managing custom workflows.

This app works ok but it does need some custom features. For some strange reason if you use a custom status the app overwrites what was in the notes section. If your customer left a note with there order you can not see what your customers said with out going searching for it in the Timeline. The app does not need to leave a note you can see the custom status as the app uses a custom Tag. I did email support asking for them to block this feature on my store and never got a response, so i have now uninstalled it.
