I was looking for Carrier Calculated Shipping rate at checkout. So first I changed my shopify plan to enable third part CCS and then installed DHL express India app but it doesn't work. I was told to get either coded by my developer because apparently DHL does not have any ready app for this feature OR I installed third party app that could enable multi carrier shipping rates at checkout guess what!! DHL doesn't support that either as its in BETA mode. I wasn't expecting an app by DHL just for printing labels. I wanted carrier calculated rate to be reflected at checkout as what we negotiated for our account. On top of it the tech support team also isn't properly trained/briefed. They make you go pillar to post and later out it on you that everyone got a solution except you, either you get this coded or use what we have in hand. Highly disappointed

This app is simply bad. After installation, the app does not show up in the shipping tab. Tried all kinds of ways to get it done, but always fail. When I contacted the DHL for the tech support, the girl who answered said DHL do not have or have develop such an app and simply hanged up on me. I wonder why Shopify have not take the developer of this app to task. Or is it just a fake app? I assume is it. The previous DHL app on the Shopify app store was working fine until Shopify decided to discontinued it on April 1st this year for no reason.

DHL express have very bad customer service. We are trying to set up the service for last 3 months we have not received any API details. The staffs do not respond to any emails. It is wastage of time and money.

Extremely unreliable. It goes down at anytime - 502 error. There are is no way to know the feature and make some settings. No way to store HSN code and description once. You have to enter every HSN code and description for each item for each order. It does not even calculate the weight of the item based on quantity. If the weight is 1 kg and quantity is 2. It will still put 1kg instead of 2. SO you have to manually calculate the weight for each item for each order. There is no way of generating labels first and then applying the tracking code to the orders. It automatically just sends tracking information to the customer. Therefore you cannot generate labels beforehand as the customers thinks there was delay in shipping.

DO NOT GET THIS APP! The service from DHL is HORRIBLE! no one replies from the app when you have questions. And the e-commerce tech support department at DHL doesn't know how to use the app. I went through all the trouble of setting up an account with them only to have to switch to another shipping company because the people at DHL were so clueless. Don't waste your time. It has delayed my website launch date by weeks. So disappointing.
