This app tries (and largely succeeds) in fixing a major flaw in Shopify which Shopify themselves have been ignoring for years. Must have app, also great support.

This app will remove the discount code from the cart for products that have 'compare at price' pricing. However, when I have multiple items in the carts (items that SHOULD be able to be discounted), it does not allow any product to be discounted.
Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately due to Shopify API limitations we don't have control over, this is not possible. Once there will be a technical solution, we will make sure to implement this feature. At the moment, this is the best solution you can have.

We used this as a way to prevent customers using discount codes when we ran a sitewide sale. Initially there was a problem pulling through our customers personalisation and text colours. However after notifiying the customer service team they had this sorted within a few hours and it worked perfectly. Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend if you need to prevent others from using discount codes when doing a sale. We will defo use it again for Black Friday.
