Our app is designed to bypass complicated Shopify checkout in case you just need simplified order form and don't need to collect payments online. Our app allows to create orders even with one single email field only! To calculate Shipping fees Shopify is using a lot of data that we should collect from the customer - complete shipping address at least. Sometimes that's even not enough - depending on how complex shipping zone rules you've created. I.e if we'll be using shipping zones you set up in your shop settings, we'll need to collect all the same data as Shopify does in their native checkout, i.e. we'll have the same long form with a lot of fields, which we were going to actually avoid with our app. But right now we're working on the new feature that will allow you to add flat shipping rate to your form with our app. It won't be as flexible as shipping zones in Shopify native checkout, but you could set flat shipping rate and minimal order amount eligible for free shipping.
