Henne Jewelers review for 404/301 SC Easy URL Redirects

Our store began to use SC Easy Redirects in October 2025. On Saturday, January 3, 2026, we became aware that our website was experiencing some redirects to an inappropriate webcam website. Our digital agency ran several virus scans on our site within 2 two hours and saw nothing coming up as nefarious. As they dug deeper, they found that this app had the code inserted. I wanted to call attention to it, as third-party apps should be notified and held accountable if they are lacking in security and are vulnerable to hacking. This could have damaged our reputation. I reported the security issue to Shopify as well. Security issues and hacking happen, but beware when installing this app.
