When using the back‑in‑stock notification feature, customer accounts are automatically created, which is confusing and raises concerns about the system’s specifications. In addition, the admin settings are complex and difficult to understand, and responses from customer support have been slow. Moreover, the guidance provided by customer support has been inconsistent, with explanations and instructions changing multiple times, which has further increased confusion. Furthermore, there was a sudden price increase without any prior notice, so we are currently considering migrating to another app.

Account Creation Logic: Regarding the 'automatic accounts,' this is actually a subscription record required to track notification requests. In many cases, Shopify automatically lists these as 'customers' in your admin when a new email is captured. It is a standard integration to ensure your customers get their alerts accurately, not an unnecessary account creation. 3. Admin & Support Experience: We honestly apologize for the inconsistent guidance and slow response times you encountered. This is not the level of service we aim for.
