The DPS Estimated Delivery Date app provides ecommerce merchants with the ability to add estimated delivery dates to their storefront and track the accuracy of these estimates. It calculates delivery windows based on processing time, transit time, dispatch days, cut-off time, and holidays, displaying them on the storefront and order status page. Additionally, the app records promised delivery dates and compares them with the actual delivery dates reported by carriers, allowing merchants to analyze their hit rate and adjust delivery windows as needed.
