It took several attempts before I was able to download the app. Once installed I found that it got the pricing U.S. vs Canadian wrong. Not happy with the app I uninstalled it. For some reason, it's still running in the background and all my pricing is now wrong. I can't get rid of it. That's what happens with a free app from Shopify. Can anyone help?? Joe

Hey Joe, Sorry about the issues you are facing with the Geolocation app. The app is not running on your store anymore. You are seeing wrong prices on your shop because your theme's in-built currency converter is not compatible with multi-currency for Shopify Payments. I would recommend you to turn off Currency selector in your theme. You can do this by going to Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme Settings > Currency and then turn currency off there. You should be then able to add currency selector and GeoIP based recommendation by installing the Geolocation app. Let us know if you are still facing any issues and we will be happy to help. - Geolocation team

o aplicativo não esta funcionando, tentei configurar diversas vezes e é sempre a mesma coisa o lado esquerdo sempre apagado.

Great idea but it doesn't work.I assume its because shopify still doesn't recognise that we have a domain www.seayogi.es attached to Spanish language which is driven by a language application, installed within Shopify and which shopify doesn't recognise in their new language setting.

Hi Sea Yogi, You are correct that we do not support different domains for different languages at this point within our language settings. We are exploring how we can add support for this. Keep an eye on the Shopify Changelog for updates. - Geolocation team

Hey Bravepoint Kennel, We visited your store using a VPN set to the US and can see the recommendation on your store. However, multi-currency for Shopify Payments seems to be conflicting with the BEST Currency Converter app that you have installed. We would recommend uninstalling the app and trying again. Geolocation ap should work as expected. - Geolocation team

I installed the app and published but the app is not working in my store. The bar shows up in the preview but not on my store's homepage or anywhere else.

Hey Hobbyhorse Music, The recommendations bar will only show up on your store if you're visiting from another country or your device is set to another one of your store languages. You can test this with a VPN and by accessing your store in a private browsing window. — Geolocation team

i changed my browsers default language to french, to test it. Also used a VPN. After clicking to translate, it did nothing. Also the currency dosen't change. I'm using debute theme, it might be limited. I don't know. But now i have to quickly switch back to old methods unfortunatley. It is a pleasure to see shopify actually develop something for their customers that is useful and free and should've been implemented a long time ago. It's such a simple thing, langue translation and currency change. Please look into this :)

Hey ANTISOCIALCASE, The Geolocation app only shows currency recommendations if you are already selling in multiple currencies with Shopify Payments. To display your store's content in another language, you need to enable multiple languages. The Geolocation app doesn't translate your store's content, but instead helps your visitors view the languages you've already translated. Hey Therapy Blu, We enable merchants to redirect using a bar or popup. We do not automatically switch to the right currency in the background as it may cause SEO issues with buyers seeing wrong currency in search engine results. - Geolocation team
