Great concept! However, at the moment, it’s a broken app that fails to save your edits properly and only checks in American English instead of British English, despite the British flag being used to indicate the language. For a spell-checking app, this is crucial to get right. I will check back in the future to see any updates as this app does have potential. EDIT: They’ve now added dialects, but also started charging. It’s $4.52 just to download a report. Yet another company that’s slapped AI onto their software and added a big price tag. I’ve updated my review from 3 stars to 1 as a result. I’ll be uninstalling again and won’t be using it. I’ll stick with a well-known Chrome extension for spelling and grammar instead.
Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’d like to clarify that we have recently switched to using ChatGPT and Gemini in order to improve both quality and stability. The solutions we used previously were significantly less reliable compared to these industry leaders from OpenAI and Google. For example, the dialect analysis you requested earlier is only possible with these advanced AI technologies. Unfortunately, neither ChatGPT nor Gemini offer a free option that works for our use case. Our app’s role is to provide a convenient interface for large-scale store content analysis. At the moment, we use our own paid ChatGPT/Gemini accounts, but we are planning to add an option for users to connect their own AI accounts. In that case, our app will not be involved in token usage or billing — charges will go directly through the AI provider.

I was hopeful then pleasantly suprised at what the app delivered. I'm usually a pretty good writer but with the volume of content, there is bound to be some errors. The app helped me to find a few. I'm very pleased!
