Alheit Vineyards review for HoldCart — Cart Reservation

We run a members-only wine shop with releases of very limited stock. The shop opens at a set time and stays open only for a short window, and hundreds of members try to buy the moment it opens. Overselling a bottle we don't have is the one thing we can't afford. HoldCart solved that for us, and the support behind it is the reason we'd recommend it. It handled our drop day. On our main release morning, HoldCart had 273 shoppers holding bottles at the same moment. It protected 625 sales, including 100 "contested" sales where someone else was trying to grab the bottle that was already in a buyer's cart. Our most limited products sold out to exactly zero, and nothing was oversold. Support is fast and hands-on. The team answered every question quickly and clearly in the run-up, including how the hold works at checkout, what happens when a cart is abandoned, and how long a hold lasts. When we needed changes for our setup, we got them, not a "that's not supported". A setting to stop the app ever switching products to "continue selling" was added for us. Bugs were fixed within hours, not weeks. We reported a double add-to-cart issue during testing, and it was fixed and shipped before release day. On day one, a shopper on a weak phone connection lost a hold too early. The team explained exactly what happened and had a fix live that night. Their support was there on the day. During and after our drop, they kept an eye on our store and sent us the numbers: reservations, peak concurrent holders and protected revenue. It felt like having someone from the app on our team for the launch. If you sell limited stock in drops, this is the app to use. Thank you HoldCart team!
