Horse Inventory Management

I was looking exactly for this app. Makes it easy to have all my stock in one view. See how much I already ordered and how much is already committed to unfulfilled orders. Simple but powerful and that's the beauty. Tried other apps that were way too bloated with AI forecasting blah blah but the basics didn't work. Horse has the basics nailed down. Also reached out to request for the images in purchase orders to be higher quality and it got patched within a few days. Amazing support.

After a lot of searching, we've settled on Horse for our ordering management software (replacing Stocky) as the best value for the money we could hope to find. The owner, Marc, is incredibly responsive, fixing issues and adding requested features at lightning speed wherever possible - he's already implemented at least a dozen requests for us. The interface is reasonably intuitive and matched to Shopify's general systems. It offers several features that Stocky does not that are extremely beneficial to our business: under/overstock reference lists, recommendations that understand out-of-stocks, uploading by supplier sku in addition to sku and barcode, a built-in bundles function, and far more exportable data. While there are still a number of feature requests from us in the works, we are already seeing many improvements over Stocky and are happy to have found Horse.

We are a growing lifestyle brand, we make old school newsboys and flat caps... we've been using Horse to help manage our inventory for the better part of the last year or so. We lean in on the PO feature to manage our production requests and inbound receiving. The automation and simple use helps us stay on track and makes it easier to handle the larger number of inbound quantities that we have with so many variants. This plugin works across multiple websites and connects the inventory between them. It helps with know which products sell the best and which do not as well as when to reorder inventory. Customer service for this plugin is Top Notch.

This software has been an absolute game-changers. Marc is very helpful and responsive. For anyone looking for an intuitive way to manage inventory on Shopify - Horse is DEFINITELY the way to go!

This app works well for our business, it allows us to link two separate Shopify stores and control the inventory for both from Horse. We had tried a few others including Shopify's Stocky and this app is far more reliable and easy to use. great app, really helpful

I tested 3 other inventory management apps before trying this one and immediately felt at home using Horse. It uses the same look and feel as Shopify. It complements and extends Shopify inventory management with many critical capabilities, all from within the Shopify UI. The app is well designed and fulfills my inventory planning requirements with ease. The "sales trends" table provides extensive insight with its filtering and sorting capabilities. The purchase order recommendation engine is accurate and reliable. And the integration with Shopify is useful. For example, POs created in Horse are reflected in the "Incoming" quantity field of the Shopify inventory table. No other app I tested could do this. The simple but powerful UI is easy to use while providing the same end results as other apps at a fraction of the cost. Inventory planning via sales velocity is not rocket science, and Horse really nails it with it's "less is more" approach. And support has been very responsive, helpful, and friendly. Great job!

It is an app always in progress of becoming better. Marc is extremely responsive more so than you would expect from any company. He is really in tune with his customers and getting better.

Only inventory app anyone should consider! Would recommend .

Superb app with great customer service

I would HIGHLY recommend the Horse Inventory Management app to all Shopify stores that need to effectively keep track of their inventory. This app has been a game changer in properly understanding how much inventory our store needs to be ordering. With recommendations based upon sales trends and store data that Horse taps into, we have highly improved our stock flow and reduced our dead stock. The developer is also highly responsive and willing to add enhancements when needed based upon your situation. If you need to fix your inventory ordering, this is the app for you.

If you are trying to use an inventory management app for your B2C and B2B websites, look no further. We have been running 2 websites for 4 years with trouble at each turn with apps that can't read returns/ order edits etc... Not only is Horse insanely easy to use (so easy, you think it isn't going to do anything ) It's also got some great features for low stock and reordering that we are looking forward to using. Our store has over 1600 variants, so any intelligence on the matter is helpful. Marc was an excellent resource for getting us trained up on his app, and was available and ready to help troubleshoot during install. Highly recommend.

We love this app! Marc is so helpful! He is very quick to respond when we have questions and he fixes bugs right away when we notice them. We got this app initially so we could see our whole # of inventory across every location at once, which Shopify lacks in. It was all super easy to set up and get used to. It's intuitive, which I appreciate. The projection features are nice and make reordering a breeze. 5/5 would recommend.

We were looking for an easy to use inventory forecasting software to help with business issues such as stockouts, how much to reorder, etc and after vetting several different programs we landed on Horse. Horse is simple, yet powerful. Directly integrated with Shopify, set-up time is less than a day and learning the software will come quickly to anyone who uses it. It does what it says and the Notion document for describing how things work is straight-forward and easy to read. The shining star of Horse though is Marc, the founder. He is the customer service department, so when you email Horse, you're emailing Marc and he has been so prompt, professional, and responsive to every email. This app has made a significant difference in our ability to manage inventory across multiple store fronts. All the other apps we tried never were able to adequately sync products and sales. The team at Horse is responsive and helpful, always working to find a solution for our store. Additionally, they continue to invest in building out the app to provide more robust solutions. There was a bit of a learning curve (completely on our team) but as mentioned before, a quick email to the Horse team and we were provided the assistance we needed.

Inventory management is really the hardest part of having a retail shop. We have been downloading apps for the last year looking to find the perfect one that fits our business.
