Hotspot Studio: Shop the Look is a Shopify App that allows ecommerce merchants to create shoppable images with bundle discounts and track revenue. Merchants can tag products on any image, enabling shoppers to buy the look in one tap. The app offers the functionality to turn lifestyle photos into effective sales tools by adding hotspots to images or galleries, allowing shoppers to view products, select variants, and add items to the cart without leaving the page. Additionally, merchants can bundle entire outfits with Shop-the-Look feature and provide automatic discounts for purchases made from the section. The app ensures that every impression, click, and order is linked back to the specific hotspot that generated it. Hotspots remain anchored to images, unaffected by theme updates. I was looking for a simple way to add a Shop the Look section with image hotspots and product links, and this app was very easy to set up. I picked one of the available layouts, adjusted it to match my store, added the hotspots and assigned the products. The whole section was ready in less than 30 minutes. There are also a lot of settings if you want more control over the design. I had one specific requirement around the product card hover state and wasn’t sure if it could be changed, so I contacted the developer. They showed me where to configure it and helped me get it looking exactly how I wanted. Easy to use for a quick setup, but still flexible if you want the section to match the rest of your theme.
