Hreflang Tags: Digital Darts

We have a comparably large multi-store set-up and needed a quick an easy way to properly integrate hreflang tags. This app was exactly what we were looking for. The installation is quite easy and the app even has an auto-mapping feature, which already does most of the mapping-work for you. The customer support is quick, friendly and kost of all: very competent! :) I definitely recommend this app for anyone who is looking for a quick and easy hreflang implementation in Shopify.

From day 1, Shopify hasn't done well with hreflang tags. This is the first app to solve that issue to help the SEO of multiple Shopify stores. Implementing the app was easy with the automatic syncs. Visitors from organic search are now taken to the right store. 404s are avoided when there's different content on different stores. Plus URLs no longer have to be the same across all stores, meaning, the URLs can be optimized for the native language of a store, which helps SEO of the store even further.
