1‑Optimizer

1-Optimizer is positioned as a practical image optimization app for Shopify merchants who want faster-loading pages and better search visibility. It can bulk compress product images by store, collection, or product, optionally convert them to WebP, and uses AI to generate specific ALT text and file names based on image content, along with three reusable keywords per image. The app also checks ALT text to avoid keyword overuse and requires merchant confirmation before saving changes, which adds a layer of control. A notable caution is that originals are replaced, so merchants are encouraged to test it on one product first. Overall, the app appears to combine performance and SEO benefits in one workflow, making it useful for stores with many product images that need optimization at scale. Its AI-assisted metadata generation and keyword suggestions may save time for merchants managing large catalogs, while the confirmation step helps reduce accidental edits.
