We've been using the Easy Image Sitemap app by William Belk on our Shopify store for an extended period, and we are thrilled with the results. With over 35,000 images, we initially struggled with getting a significant number of them indexed by Google. Before installing the app, only a small percentage of our images were indexed. After cleaning up our code, improving our page speed, and installing Easy Image Sitemap, our indexed images have gone to over 65%. There have been some issues and discrepancies in the use of the app, particular with updates and reports on indexing - but William was quick to respond to our support tickets and resolved the problems. Thank you, William, for your great support and awesome app! Easy 5-star rating from our end.

Insane usage fee. $200 per month. 18k images indexed first month. I deleted products, indexed images fell to 200, they still charged me $200. I wouldn't be mad about paying if other images were indexed to offset the deleted ones. (I have 360k images in total) but being charged $200 for 200 images, and I emailed customer service on April 18th (now it's the 22nd) with no response, I'm forced to give this app a one star.
We responded to your support request on April 18, the same day it was received. Your catalog had 222,982 images at the time the app was uninstalled. Your indexed images fell from 18k to 2k during the three months Image Sitemap was installed. This can be from all sorts of things, Google ranking changes, site issues like what looks to be duplicate rich snippets data on your product pages or the unconventional (and blocking) js loading libraries you are using, or image file name changes (e.g. we only track current images in your catalog, not old images, so a newly added image or filename change may take time for Google to index). I'm sorry you feel that you had a bad experience, but submitting 200k images to Google Search Console, and getting the indexing efficiency data, is a huge job. Perhaps you missed our response to your support message, but we could have looked at things in more detail to point you in the right direction.

The app is the only one that takes care of such a big matter. William is extremely competent and trustworthy regarding his expertise. The image sitemap is a big matter for SEO and this app is the only option if you want to play seriously with a Shopify store and compete with the bigger website developed with top SEO (Shopify as we know has some limits and the image sitemap is one of them)

I'm managing a t-shirt business (https://www.geeksngears.com). I must say that is very important for me to rank high in Google Image Search. That's why I installed this app. It's doing great. I would not like to do all of this manually. Great and fast support too. Reccommand.

Seriously wish I would have installed this earlier. If you want all your images indexed in Google, it's a must have! Plus, William is a great dude. Go for it!

Found this app helpful to index more images, especially product images that can be more difficult for Google to find.

Very interesting app! What I miss: the graph only shows the number of indexed pictures, which looks like constant grow. But we also constantly put now pictures and blogarticles up... so to measure the effectiveness, we would need to have the %percentage in the graph to see if there is improvement in indexing.. Also would be great if their the app gives direct feedback what to to do improve.

We've used this App for roughly 6 months, it has been a very slow process but gradually our images are getting indexed. It is working, we just did not anticipate it taking this long. Overall it is a good app to use.

App indexed 50% of my images but google search consoles show that it doesn´t have any improvement in impressions or clicks
Your product page has several console errors that you should talk to your web developer about: https://share.getcloudapp.com/4gumnG1m. You should have also received an email about this. If you didn't, please let us know. These errors can impact your Google SEO across the board. The app has been installed on your site for 22 days. Your indexed images started at 7,691 of 16,703 images, or 46%. These are the number of images that were already indexed before you installed the app. Your indexed images have improved by 4% in 22 days. I would recommend that you be patient and read my articles on Medium on image indexing to evaluate your existing SEO foundation. These articles were sent in your onboarding emails. Let me know if you need me to send them again. It makes sense that your impressions and clicks would be similar.

After 4 month 22 out of 450 images was indexed!! Really make sure your images are index when using this app. A total ripoff. Regarding the suppliers try to find excuses to why the app didn’t work. “ This customer installed my app across several international sites that were all submitting identical duplicate image content to Google.” This is totally wrong! We have to languages and and a modern app should be able to handle. The images look the same but all file names has been changed the correct way according to Googles guidelines. So if they find a bug or not is not important. 22 out of 450 images was index during 4 months!! Also, We use Shopify and an Shopify approved theme. If the app can’t handle Shopify approved themes I guess they need to bring it up with them!

This customer installed my app across several international sites that were all submitting identical duplicate image content to Google. I spent a great deal of time communicating and researching what their potential issues might be and suggesting solutions. For example, not using javascript redirects by default on their most trafficked international domain, proper use of html lang tags, etc. It is unfortunate that I also found an issue where Google's API will not return accurate data for url's using the special ö character. The customer was notified and proactively offered a refund. The customer then re-installed the app on the same domain with the special characters some five months later with the same expectations. The customer was proactively offered a refund on BOTH occasions. Sorry it didn't work out, but the final message was the same — regardless of my app's inability to pull accurate data for the edge case of using a URL with a special character, the customer was doing things that could be harmful to their SEO, and that they should consult with an SEO expert to try to work through the issues and validate their progress manually. SEO is a marathon, not a sprint. Initially, we were disappointed in the developer's response time, but the developer did have a timely response - we didn't see the email. With that said, we are disappointed that Collections are not included, but are still reviewing the effectiveness of the product results.

This app is worth every penny. William is super helpful and I've seen a tremendous jump in my images being indexed. As everyone knows or should, all images are stored by Shopify on the CDN domain so it's hard to tell what's actually being indexed or not since Google webmaster will show images being submitted but with zero indexing of them. This app will fix that issue and have all of your images indexed with the ability to keep track in the dashboard. An app I will definitely not live without for my store.
