*Edit* Junip listens when you have concerns. This was changed, and now customers don't need to confirm that they want to leave their reviews. We now have the option to change that in our admin settings. I would recommend, but I do not like that a customer has a 2 step process to leave a review. I do not believe they should have to go back to their email to confirm that they want to leave a review - otherwise, the review will not display on your website. Problems exist like them not being notified by their email provider, not wanting to think about it after submitting, or simply not receiving the email fast enough (most likely due to strength of internet). It limits the amount of reviews that you can have. If it's to possibly weed out illegitimate reviews, I'm sure there's another fix for that.
Hi James! Appreciate you providing this feedback, totally understand where the concern comes from. Our review verification process only applies to reviews submitted manually and is there to protect you against any bad actors. Since the majority of reviews are not submitted manually, I've just followed up with you via email to provide some more clarification about the review submission process :)
