Lightning Inventory
The Lightning Inventory app has received mostly positive reviews from ecommerce merchants. Users appreciate the app's ability to manage inventory efficiently and accurately, making operations faster and more streamlined. The app's user-friendly interface and robust features have been highlighted as game-changers in inventory management. Additionally, the responsive customer support team has been praised for their quick responses and dedication to improving the app. However, some users have pointed out issues such as crashes while scanning items and limitations in features like bulk inventory transfers. Overall, the Lightning Inventory app has been described as a lifesaving tool that simplifies inventory tracking and reduces errors.
this app is great. what would be greaterer would be finding out that there is a 100 line item limit to csv population of transfers another way than by happenstance troubleshooting an inventory issue. where's the documentation!?!?!?!?!
Generally this app is amazing and helps us manage inventory in and out exactly how we need it to; total game-changer in speed and accuracy of operation. The one thing that lets it down is that when scanning items, sometimes the app will just close itself down and you lose everything you've done so far. The way around it is to save a draft periodically, but there's no pattern to the crash; sometimes you can scan 50 items fine, others just 1 or 2. Whether that's because we're scanning using the app on our phones I don't know, but it should either work or not, none of this will it fail/won't it trepidation! Update 11th Nov: Lightning are even more amazing than first thought. Since leaving the first review they have worked to implement a feature that recovers unsaved transfers in the event of a crash (now identified as an error with the Shopify app, not Lightning). Amazing work so 5 stars definitely deserved.
Yes, it's very useful and convenience.
I wish this did the one simple thing I needed it to: move all of my inventory at one location to another with one click. But it doesn't. I still had to choose every item (over 200 of them) manually, add them to a list and then manually click through every one to bring its number to zero at the first location, having also adjusted the inventory numbers individually at the second location. For me, this is money totally wasted - I could have done that myself without the app.
Lifesaving app. We use it to keep track of our returns and the functionality is great. We are able to barcode scan from multiple mobile or ipads and keep the count in one file, ready for a list to transfer back to our main warehouse. The customer support is outstanding, regular improvements and very responsive.
