Great standalone App for LLMs and Ai agents discovery. Simple but complete and always updated with the latest changes made in this new Ai world.
I strongly advise against using this app! It violates Shopify’s security policies. After uninstalling the app, the file it created (a faulty file) still remains on my store, even though it should have been removed!
I was helped until the issue was fully resolved. Thank you very much for your response, patience, and clear instructions!
GROK review of my robots.txt says it's exactly the opposite of helping Ai's to see my website because it basically restricts all Ai's. Also my product pages stopped working for a few days, cost me a lot. Probably my fault but beware. EDIT: prolly was my fault but it's the only app I used. Thumbs up for reaching out to bad comments tho, thanks.
Hi TMODCUSTOMS, there's an important clarification here for anyone reading this review. Opr app does not touch your robots.txt. Our app generates llms.txt, a separate, emerging standard that helps AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) discover and understand your store's catalog. It lives at /llms.txt and is fully independent of robots.txt. We never read or modify that file. Whatever Grok flagged in your robots.txt was set by Shopify or another app, not by Arc. On the product pages: nothing our app does can affect how your product pages render. We only publish a static llms.txt file at a separate URL. It broke my llm.txt it give 404 now
When we looked at the text file we were surprised to see hundreds of items like alcohol and cigarettes which we don't sell at all! We never had anything like this in our product files. The app created them when we installed the app and created the llm file. It also created alcohol and cigarette names and brands to tags in hundreds of files. Items like this gets flagged and black listed by Google. It took us over two hours of work to erase these products!
Our app does not and cannot create, modify, or delete products in your store. It only has read-only access to your product data - it reads your existing store content and generates a text file from it. Nothing is ever written back to your store. The products you saw were already in your store before our app was installed. Our llms.txt file simply surfaced them in one place, which may have made them visible for the first time. You can verify this by checking your store's product activity log - you'll see those items were not added by our app. If you'd like to investigate further, our support team is happy to help.
Simple, great application for any e-commerce store wanting to capitalise on the opportunities of LLM search engine algorithms. Arcspeed's support is prompt, and Shashank specifically helped us out so highly appreciated.
awful...says doesn't work and not compatible.....waste of time.
Hi, there was a temporary Shopify API outage which lead to all the apps having error. Hope you can give our app another shop. We have 4K+ merchants just like you already using the app seamlessly to gain more AI visibility
