The llms.txt standard specifies that the file should be at the root of your domain. Since this is not possible with this app, you need to create a Redirect from root path to its actual location for this app to do anything. Even this is not ideal, but there is no way to get the file in root so it's the only option. App should have pointed this out and walked me through the process. I thought this was working until 3 separate Agentic optimization tools all told me we have no LLMS file in place!

Trash. It scrapes your unpublished pages to llms.txt, but also this only generates the url's instead of full descriptions to the llms.txt file.
Sorry about your experience. You can enable the feature to have the meta description or the content for every URL via the app if you wanted to. We do not auto-generate content about your products or collections. For the URLs that you do not want to include, there is a feature for you to select URLs that you can exclude. Please reach out to our support and we'll make sure to help you fix your issues.

Basic but lovely tool. Unfortunately the tool does't support multistore .txt setup so cannot create LLMs for ccTLDs! Generates URL https://webshop.com/apps/llmstxt/llms.txt which should be ideally https://webshop.com/llms.txt. Hopefully they can fix soon.

It works, but I'm missing some functionality to add text to the llms.txt file. It would be great if we could manually add custom text or instructions for the LLMs. Addition based on the latest release: Thank you for adding the requested feature. There is a little problem if you want to add text with line breaks in the instructions field. But the latest release really solves our issue.
Hi there! Thank you for your review. We worked on your feedback and added a feature so you can add a custom store description that you want to use. The generator uses the copy/meta description data for your products, collections and articles on the blog, and we thought it might be unnecessary to provide a feature to edit those since those are already something you could do from other parts in your store.
