Materials Inventory

Excellent app, excellent service, highly recommended!! We manufacture our own product and sell it in various bundles, and I'd been looking for an app like this for a long time. We needed a reasonably priced app that could track inventory of our master components -- a seemingly simple idea, and this app was the only one that could do exactly what we wanted. There were a few tweaks that we needed, and tech support very quickly accommodated us.

It is definitely the best app in the category. Its flexibility and options make it suitable for any business. In addition, support at the highest level. I wish there were more apps like this in the Shopify App Store.

Materials Inventory has allowed us to remove several apps that we used as "workarounds" as a cost-effective inventory management and reports solution. The setup was easy with their spreadsheet templates provided for uploading bulk data. Once set up, everything was tracked, priced, and in order! Our supplier info is recorded and the ability to track raw materials/components that are used across multiple products is brilliant. The UX is basic, but this is a functional, cost-effective inventory solution for small-medium manufacturing businesses that exceeds my expectations!

So very pleased we found this app. It does pretty much exactly what we want it to do. We are a tea merchant retailing and also blending a number of teas so managing bulk teas and selling by units of specific weight is impossible to do on Shopify without such an app. We found it very easy to set everything up. It's making our lives so much easier. We had a slight issue with the tracking of a particular item so contacted for help and Tarek replied within a minute! And fixed the issue within 20 minutes!! This app has been perfect for us. We sell loose-leaf teas and loose coffee and so having an inventory system that can keep track of one large number while we sell smaller bags from that amount is critical for our business. Tarek who helped us get set up is very patient and helped us work through the complexity of our inventory including blending teas accurately. I recommend this for anyone who has inventory that needs more than what Shopify offers.

Overall a very simple/functional app that was exactly what I was looking for. Support is always prompt and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Exactly what we needed. The functionality of this app is very straightforward, it's surprising that there aren't more apps out there that do this, or that it isn't native to Shopify. We use it to track the raw materials used to make our garments so that we can take preorders for multiple styles and maximize our sales without having to constantly watch sales and estimate inventory manually. It's also great for staying on top of reordering supplies and seeing their estimated reorder points. We haven't really scratched the surface of all the features of this app, and I'm excited to see how it performs with even more sales data. This is one of the best tech solutions we've found so far for our business, and the developers of this app are incredibly helpful and friendly. I have had all my questions answered right away, and they have helped come up with a solution for the few sticking points we came across. Very thankful for Materials inventory!!

Very simple and massively useful app. Great developer support and feature enhancement. Simplicity keeps you focused on the key functions. Looking forward to seeing this develop further.

This app is amazing. I originally had an excel sheet like most. Most of my products have 10-20 different things to make the final product. Although the excel sheet did fine with keeping count, it wasted SO much time. On top of that, I am human and I make errors. Whether I miss something, miscalculated something, etc. I would find myself missing parts needed on multiple occasions. That is the reason I got this app. When someone purchases a product, it takes out the right amount of nuts, bolts, packaging, etc. for each product. It truly is a game changer when it comes to time management. It also informs you when you should buy more of said products. You can set all sorts of alarms to yell at you at any given time when you should do so. Absolutely worth the money.

Team are very responsive. It is loads of work to set this up if you have been operating for a while but man it is reducing our effort in keeping the Shopify inventory and orders ahead of demand. Having worked with this app for 6 months IT IS LIFE CHANGING. The Support has been amazing. Ongoing improvements, incredibly responsive support team. I literally don't know how we lived without it.

With multiple products consuming multiple raw materials, it was getting hard to keep track of my inventory manually. I knew of enterprise level inventory management tools but those are expensive. This app was the solution perfect for a small business like mine. I set it up so that every time I add products to inventory, it draws down the balance of the raw materials required to make that product. Then I get an email when my raw materials drop below a preset threshold. The customer service is great. I always think of new features when I'm using the product and click the chat button and make the suggestions. They always respond almost immediately to tell me the feature exists or say the will work on it. Amazing support and an amazin app getting better every day.

We have had an amazing experience...any issue that may arise is dealt with in a timely manner! Our inventory is a little unique and more complicated, and this app makes it so much easier!

This app has been a game changer! We now have control over our materials inventory and visibility on potential inventory for finished products. We even created a small workaround to manage our daily production output. The developer has been incredibly helpful, open to adding new features and response time is very fast. A great solution for on-demand production models.

This app is wonderful. Not only is it wonderful, but the developer is fantastic. They responded to every email I sent within just hours and even created some customizations within the same day. I have zero regrets about choosing this app over more expensive and apps and am looking forward to the future improvements they add due to user feedback. They honestly seem like they care about their users and that is so rare these days and worth every penny.

Material Inventory is a simple and powerful way for companies to manage their supplies, production, and inventory. Because of this app, our company buys the right amount of supplies at the right times, more effectively prioritizes our production, and helps us understand how much we are spending to make our final products. All this is neatly integrated with our shopify store. I tried a few different inventory management apps from big companies, but Materials Inventory was the easiest to implement and understand, and the email support is outstanding. Really great app - easy to set up and clean interface. I love feeling like I'm on top of my inventory (my shop has a mix of ready made products and products that are made to order using raw materials) and this app just makes it so much less stressful. I made a few suggestions to the developer and they immediately implemented it. Amazing! Would highly recommend.

We use this app to help manage material and product inventory for a growing cosmetics company. Highlight for me is the simplicity of its stock management formula. Bonus is that there's not an overcomplexity to the app, which makes it the most enjoyable experience. Straight forward and gives the information needed. Also, 5 stars for customer service. They were able to add on a feature I needed within 12 hours of contact

This is a great app with a very responsive developer. I use this app to help me track the raw materials in our spice and tea shop. With over 100 teas and 100 spices, it would be impossible to track without this kind of app!

This app is great for tracking how much product/raw materials you have on hand. It helps you figure out when you need to reorder and will notify you when the time comes. This is a must have app if you make the products you sell, must order materials/products in advance, or move a decent amount of products and need to establish a good flow.
