MaxOff helps merchants control percentage discounts by adding a ceiling at checkout, so a discount like 20% off cannot exceed a set maximum on larger orders. The app is positioned as a simple safeguard against unexpectedly large discount costs, while also showing the cart value where the cap begins to apply so merchants can judge whether the limit is set appropriately. Since the app applies the cap through Shopify checkout, it does not add anything to the storefront.
