Don't install their app. Super complicated to use and they setup their taxes like you have a presence in Texas (where they have their warehouse) so they force you to pay their taxes which the threshold is 500 000$ - 600 000$ US even is you have a small business and not even in their country. Super frustrating! Would rate a 0 rating if i could.
Important update regarding your tax settings Hi Boston Terrier World, We sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration. We want to clarify that Merchize never forces you to pay Texas sales taxes. What you experienced was a default, automated warning from Shopify Tax. When our app synced our Texas warehouse address to calculate shipping rates, Shopify automatically triggered a generic "Physical presence" notification. As a small or international business, you could have safely ignored it. However, we completely understand how annoying this notification is. We have taken immediate action and updated our app's location settings. Shopify will no longer trigger these automated tax warnings for your store.
