Great app with a lot of helpful features! Their developers are also incredibly helpful and responsive, making it easy to solve storefront problems we have run into setting up metafields for Shopify 2.0

Amazing app, allows to set metafields outside of the general Shopify environment. Metafields can be set per product, vendor or tags, which allows you to keep a clean working environment. The interface itself is easy to use and loads fast. We are using this app for every single product now and it can also work on any other that supports metafields. Support is super fast and responsive and act to any potential issues immediately. Highly recommended if you need to work with metafields.

While the app seems like a fantastic idea, the app is too far from perfect. The app does not allow for a full hands-on trial. You are only limited to the “Free Version” that in the essence is a useless tier. In order to really test drive the app you will need to purchase a paid plan, oh wait your store has too many products so you’ll need to be on the top paid tier. Wow… $60.00 just to test an app… Yikes. Turns out the app was not successful at editing our metafields and has now filled in $0.00, now causing other issues. When trying to talk with support they are not addressing our real problem, they keep trying to blame the user for the issues as well as keep touting how wonderful the app is. Too bad to say the least… I would review some other apps before working with Metafields Guru (not). All in all, we tossed out $60.00, so a pretty good win for the developer I suppose.
Well, today is the day - our first negative review 🙃. For the sake of justice, I’d like to share more details about this situation. The merchant reached out to us and reported an issue with the data they imported from a CSV file using our app. Upon further investigation, I discovered that the data was imported correctly. However, even though the data was correct in the backend, it was not getting displayed on the storefront. Usually, this indicates a theme problem, so I offered help with checking this theory. The merchant provided me with access to their store and I checked the source code of their active theme. Turned out that there was a piece of code that converted string metafields into numbers before displaying them on the product page. The problem was that said code expected values to be formatted in a very specific way. The merchant accidentally used a slightly different format while populating values in their CSV file, which resulted in the code being unable to process the data. I offered two different options for resolving the issue, and it looks like the merchant ended up using one of them. But the merchant was still upset about the situation, so they decided to keep this review. It's a shame that a third-party issue ruined the experience of using our app. - Sasha

This APP got me just what I needed. Thanks to Sasha and her expertise, she was able to help me create a pop-up size chart link. I honestly don't know how she did it, but she was able to help me learn to recreate it myself so that I'm able to manage them on my own. I'm grateful for an app that delivers in all areas (Development and customer service).

Great App, great user functionalities and a super friendly and patient support team which is responding to urgent or non-urgent matters even in the middle of the night. It can't get better than this. Enough said!

Does everything you need it to do, like add tabs to product descriptions, but the app support is AMAZING. Huge shout-out to Sasha (who happens to be working out of Ukraine, of all places) who fixed my issue like a total boss--that actually had nothing to do with any issues with their app but was due to another problem entirely and guess what? he helped me fix it!!-- while navigating the hellscape that is the war going on in his country right now with only positivity and professionalism. Is your mouth on the floor too? Good, because it should be. This man was such a joy to work with and I cannot say enough good things about him, the level of 5 star support he provided, or the app. THANK YOU!!

This is an awesome app to use for managing metafields. Shopify's new metafields have a few glitches, and we use Metafields Guru to help us fill those gaps. It's easy to use, and their support team is phenomenal (thanks, Sasha!). They are quick to respond with a friendly, thorough reply, even when the answer is outside of their scope. Very happy!

Very good app for us to enter in meta fields for our international shipping. Excel editor was a life savor and it allows you to autofill the same variants once you inputted one type instead of typing every HS code and such for every variant. The customer support was also excellent. I highly recommend this app.

This app is fantastic, and were it not for the fact that we no longer require it for our shop's needs, we'd still have it. It is easy to use, comprehensive, and works perfectly. I have tried a few different metafield editors, and this one is by far the best.

We use this app for a lot of functionality. We had to set it up bring in a huge amount of data and Sasha set up a plan specially for us that would handle our data issues. He has been amazing to work with and the product does a great job and is easy to use even for the least technical people on our team.

We use Metafielf Guru's action items in one of our important Shopify Flows, we hit a roadblock in creating the flow but Sasha went above and beyond to help us. After a few back-and-forth emails, tests and really quick replies, we were able to crack the code! Definitely recommend this app and don't hesitate to reach out to the team for help they are great!

This app has helped me to create a more expansive section for additional information. I contacted them with an issue and even though it was outside of the scope of the app, they help me out. The customer service is amazing and I could not have been more thrilled.

Shopify should just buy this app so that we can bulk edit Metafields natively. Saved me loads of time at a reasonable price. Love the Excel like editor if you're used to Excel. Best of all, I had a minor issue and received the kindest, most empathetic and helpful response from the CEO Sasha in just a few hours. I highly recommend this app and thank you for your kindness.
