SEOmatic: AI SEO Optimizer
The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with many users praising the app for being easy to set up and use, affordable, and effective at optimizing images quickly. A large number of merchants say it saves time, reduces image sizes, improves site speed, and can help with SEO and conversions. Several reviewers also highlight helpful customer support, especially when issues arise, and appreciate features like alt text, tagging, and optimization reports. The negative reviews focus on a few recurring problems: some users report that the app does not deliver the promised level of compression or speed improvement, or that results are not reflected in external tools like Google PageSpeed. Others mention image quality issues such as blurriness, distortion, or ruined vector images, and some are frustrated by the lack of reversal/backup options. Customer support is another pain point in the negative feedback, with complaints about slow responses, email-only support, and billing or cancellation concerns. A smaller set of users also dislike the alt-text and filename changes, especially when they already have optimized metadata in place.
