Be very careful before you upgrade your account. If you ever want to downgrade back to hobby it's next to impossible unless you uninstall and you'll lose all of your imported products, even if you're below the 25 free product limit. Support will give you the run around and tell you it's not a problem, but it is.

I spent four months and a significant amount of money adding these products to my store. Then a girl named Amanda accidentally deleted them with just one click. I’m honestly shocked. The app itself is buggy and unreliable: items that appear as available often turn out to be unavailable in reality.

INVENTORY SYNC ISSUES! I AM ONLY PAYING THE APP FOR THE BRANDED ITEMS! BUT ALL THE PRODUCTS SHOWS ZERO OUT OF STOCK WHEN YOU SYNC THEM ON SHOPIFY! I WANT MY FULL REFUND FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!!!

Deleting App due to inventory issues and bug issues. I pay monthly fee and buy UPC number for each product which causing me to lose money now. My business is going a different way now. Warning to Other, you will pay monthly fee, but you're not allow to purchase item for the customer. I had to cancel two orders due to vendors not having PayPal set up. We have officially deleted the App as of 2/28/2023. No change

I've made 3 test orders before going live. Out of those three order only one supplier delivered: 1. Supplier: Received the item but with promotional flyers (which is against the Modalyst policies) 2. Supplier: Got a refund after filling out a dispute on PayPal 3. Supplier: Never received the item nor got a refund In my opinion Modalyst doesn't make a quality check on their suppliers. Even Jose, the supplier manager at Modalyst, couldn't make an impact on those suppliers. The only positive thing so far was the quick customer support. You always get an answer, that's why I gave 2 stars. Otherwise the service isn't really reliable, at least not in Europe.

I've waited for six months before writing this review as I wanted to see how I would fare with Modalyst especially after having a negative experience with a competitor. What makes Modalyst stand out for me is the customer service that I've received throughout my journey. Initially Jill, the owner, reached out to me and followed up to ensure that I was making progress with the application. Recently Felix helped me with quick turnaround times when I wanted to convert my currency from CAD to USD after my store launched. Is Modalyst perfect - no it's not, but then nothing is. As I mentioned what sets it apart is the service; the team seems to genuinely want you to succeed. I am pleased with the application and happy that I found this company.

Watch dropship addresses when placing aliexpress orders. My first order mixed customer address information with other customers. Had I not been verifying addresses on aliexpress, my customer would never have received their order as the address that synced was not correct. Shipping is quicker on aliexpress with the use of Modalyst. Keep eye on shipping addresses. Will update review after a few more orders are placed.

High Quality Italian and International Brands Finally. I have found this amazing platform, where you can find many different products and Brands to sell online. I wrote an email with many questions directly to the management and they replied after 5 minutes to everything I had asked in a friendly and professional way at the same time. I will use this platform 100%. I can affirmed that it is the only platform in the world that to date that sells important Brands with the dropshipping formula. I want to compliment them on what they have built. Bravissimi.. High quality products at a reasonable price! (UPDATE UPDATE REVIEW) I get a call from the local posted I owe postage of $2.19 for the Mom Jeans. I have to go to the post office to pick up the item and pay again. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! VERY DISAPPOINTED. SHOPIFY GET BETTER USA DROP SHIPPERS PLEASE! (UPDATE REVIEW!) I thought I would give this one more try. I ordered the mom Jeans as a sample and then 5 days later it was processed. Then takes over a week to get my items. (8 days). The process is way too long. Still waiting for the Jeans to be delivered. If my customers would have to wait this long? The question is I thought this was USA drop shipping I guess it is not. Sorry Modalyst. I can not do a try 3. Very disappointed. Shopify needs more USA dropshippers for our online boutique businesses. (ORIGINAL REVIEW) The site is easy to use! Everything looks cute! This is the first time using Modalyst and very disappointed. I ordered the Maroon Sunglasses as a sample item. 1) The item arrived by USPS and I had to pay for additional postage in order to receive it (this is not good for potential customers). You had the items weight at 8oz and via USPS states it was 10 oz. I had to pay $2.19 2) The items received are incorrect. I ordered to Alicia Maroon Sunglasses and I received some weird hot pink & zebra print sunglasses. Nothing at all close to the glasses I have listed on my website. (again this is not good for potential customers). Please change my mind that this is not how all your products are being sent out & delivered?

We would love to understand in greater detail what happened so we can properly address every issue with the suppliers involved. For example, the shipping times. It sounds like there is a misunderstanding about how shipping times work. The denim item you ordered is from a supplier based in Spain. The item was shipped from Spain to the USA. This is international shipping, and it is written as such on the item detail page of Modalyst. Moreoever, I believe the item was received by you within 8 business days. If it was more than 8 business days, please let me know. From prior messages, I understood it to be 8 business days. If you were looking for super fast shipping, then our distributor of brand name items in Europe is the best option. They deliver in under 4 business days. With respect to the wrong item, we are sorry about that. That is certainly frustrating. Were you also underwhelmed by our Customer Support and response to the matter? If I recall, our Supplier team stepped in right away and helped connect you to the supplier. It was my understanding that the resolution was swift. If that wasn't the case, please let us know.

App is easy and pretty straight forward. Vendor list for women's clothing is so-so. Takes a while to hear back from vendors if you email them about something specific. I wish they would up their shoe and handbag game, this is the downfall for EVERY dropshipper I've come across! Mahalo!

An absolutely HORRIBLE site/app, customer service, and tech team. I had the unlimited plan for 3 years now - paid $35 monthly payment each month to drop ship - One day they announced they are no longer working with THE MAIN supplier I had used - Meaning I can't import more items form this supplier but they promised all my imported items ( 15,000 ) will still be synced, And they said I still have to pay the full $35 for this service ( although I can't import any of this supplier items anymore ). I had kept paying full price because I wanted my 15,000 items to be synced with real stock quantity, And then I started noticing the orders my clients had placed at that time ware out off stock in the supplier website - And I couldn't fulfill them - had to refund money to all my customers, - I had complained to Modalist customer support - and was told that the supplier had blocked them - They are sorry - they can't sync with their stock anymore - Meaning I kept paying for service for 2 full months and got NOTHING . I asked for a refund for this period of time - and they agreed - but never got it till today ( it has been 4 months now ) - Also I demanded to stop the recurring payment for my unlimited plan - they said in order to do that I need to downgrade my plan - I tried to do that but got an error that I will need to delete all my 15,000 items ( that I had to spend A LOT of money on SEO to promote them by then) Oviusley I refused to delete them - their customer service told me - "that's weird - I will take "care of that for you And guess what - After one hour - I saw only had 7000 items left in my shop !!!!! I had contacted them said "Stop deleting my items ASAP" - they said " you wanted to downgrade your plan, didn't you? And then they apologized When they realized what happened and promised they will stop the process and will upload all my DELETED items back - And after 2 hours I took a look saw 0 items on my shop!!! THEY HAD DELETED ALL MY HARD WORK - and made me lose a lot of money !!!!! This is the WORST EXPERIENCE i had ever had by far !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to build a successful online dropshipping Buiseness S T A Y A W A Y!!! There are much better apps with great and professional customer service like "Oberlo", "Aliexpress ". Do your self a favor and never go with Modalyst!!!!

I do think after scanning the products that they have a lot of worthy stuff when buying for a store. But this service is not free. It's only free to get feel for what it is so you can see their product and than decide if you want to pay. Which can be fine depending on what you are looking for. The app seems to work well and the people who are running it seem to make it a priority for clients to have good experience from what I gather from the vibe.

This app idea is good but it has lot of shortfalls. The vendors keep changing. There is low inventory most of the times. Named brands generally have only 1 -2 items in stock anytime and are only sold at retail price. I have checked it so may times now. Second this app is high risk if you are just starting. Since fashion apparel industry is very high competition and saturated to the lowest margins. Selling products of this app becomes more challenging due to three reasons: 1. Inventory is generally low. 2. Pricing is generally retail price + Shipping fee can go as high as $15 + order processing to delivery 20 days average + 5% transaction fee they charge (even when you have paid for year) (you also pay 2%-4% transaction fee to payment provider + 2% to Shopify these bring down your margin ). 3. High risk of you loosing your ad spend - this can be due to the low stock inventory they have. It's my experience. Also, most vendors always offer out of fashion stuff at high retail price so making a reasonable business out of this app is a tricky one. Recent update have also ruined how the app used to work before. Now it don't even push products to store and keep showing blank error or say products syncing in process. Customer care is difficult to get in touch with. It might have potential but Not an app I love any more.

Terrible platform experience, and I've paid for highest level to access. I have to go through the individual sites to download product. When I import from modalyst, products don't show up even though they say they are importing. I've reached out to customer service and I've heard back but not an answer just an acknowledgement. I would seriously suggest you use the free only and test out thoroughly.
