CreditsYard — Store Credit
CreditsYard is a Shopify app that has received mixed reviews from users. Positive aspects highlighted by users include the app's ability to improve cash flow, excellent customer support, responsiveness of tech support, ease of use for customers, and the convenience of adjusting Shopify Credit directly. On the other hand, negative feedback includes issues with billing, complications after changes made by Shopify, difficulties at the point of sale, and instances of store credits being issued incorrectly. Despite some challenges, many users appreciate the app's functionality, customization options, and the quick resolution of issues by the support team.

We have been using this app for over a year, moving from a loyalty app that used points and was much more expensive. Since the move there has been more use of rewards and their tech support is very responsive. It's really easy for customers who have accounts to spend their store credit.
Ive only been using it for a few months but shopify apparently made some changes and now it doesn't work the way it used to and it's too complicated to use at POS and it's too hard to look up the order # which seems to be a different# on the receipt than in the computer and most of the time, it says order# not found. So I've had to manually go in when the customer is standing in front of me and calculate the return and enter it as an adjusted store credit and then redeem it at POS. Such a nightmare because then I have to go into inventory and adjust it for the return. I'm currently looking for a new store credit app to use.
This is truly a great API. Being able to directly adjust Shopify Credit is very convenient. The support is also smooth and very helpful. I think it would be great to have ranking and automatic tagging based on the customer's total purchase amount. However, since this can be done using Flow or other automation tools, it's not an issue. (But, it would be really nice to have!)
Crazy, although it does not have a free version, yesterday I started the 7-day trial, but it is definitely worth every coin invested, so far the best rewards app I have used, since it has integration with Shopify POS and my salespeople will be able to sell as always from their cell phones without problems and without having to run to the desktop.
