4/10 Wouldn't recommend paying for it and the free plan is pretty useless unless you have a very small catalog. It works as expected until you hit the limit, which is very low considering it counts more than just new products towards your usage AND seems to count each new product twice. Unlimited is $20/mo which is steep considering you can do the same free with shopify flow. Unlimited at $5/mo would be fair IMO. Plus side is you only have to add the collection to the site and the app does the rest (until you go over your limit and need to go fix everything manually)

Newr will add the text "NEW IN" on all of your images even when they are used in another collection on your site. There is no option to change or not have this text added to images. An absolute deal breaker. Have contacted support but will be cancelling if this cannot be turned off completely.
Thanks for taking the time to write a review. As per our reply to your email, Newr does not have any functionality that adds "NEW IN" badges or labels anywhere. It never did. Most likely this is being generated by another app or is a native feature of your theme. Feel free to continue the communication with us via email. We're happy to help identify what's causing it, even if it's not our app.
Great app, unfortunately upon first install if you have lots of products then your monthly limit will be used immediately, for example if you install this app on the 1st, then you'll have to wait the entire month before it actually does what you want it to. It would be ideal if the first time this app populates the New Arrivals collection that it didn't count towards your limit. It should also include this caveat in the FAQ section under the question: "Will the app include products that existed before the app was intalled?"
Great App and Great Support. Does exactly what it says it will do. We will be keeping this, as it really helps us manage our New Arrivals and Restocks automatically within a collection we display to customers. Thank You
